Roma captain Francesco Totti is in doubt for the Giallorossi's season opener against Cesena, after the striker sprained his ankle against Inter in the Italian Supercup.
Inter defender Walter Samuel and Totti were involved in a heavy challenge, with the former Italy international coming off second best.
Totti did not train with the rest of his team-mates, sitting on the sidelines and resting his ankle, according toLaRoma24.it.
The side remains positive that Il Capitano will be available for the weekend's clash, and will ensure everything possible will be done in order for the striker to be ready. The Giallorossi will play the Bianoneri on Saturday evening at the Olimpico stadium in Rome.
